About Our Orthodontic Lab
Cusp Dental Design's Orthodontic Lab is dedicated to providing custom implants, orthodontic appliances, and others, while everything we design and produce guarantees reliability and patient comfort. We take advantage of modern digital design methods paired with our craft skills, which gives a perfect combination of advanced and old-school results.

Our technicians have extensive experience and understand how important small adjustments are to overall case success. Whether you're sending analog impressions or digital scans, you can count on getting back exactly what you need.

If your ortho cases transition into prosthetic needs, our lab is equipped to support your restorative workflow as well.
I’ve been very happy with their service. They consistently deliver great results, and the cases always fit perfectly. They’re also able to expedite cases when needed, which has been a huge help.

HOW IT WORKS
The Cusp Dental Design Process
We take a detailed, multi-phase approach here at Cusp Dental Design to guarantee precision in every restoration. Our process for making orthodontic appliances is similar, except there is no temporary solutions, but we make the final one straight away.
HIGH-RESOLUTION SCANS
We begin by analyzing high-resolution digital scans of your patient's oral structure, to get a better understanding of the needs, including specific jaw problems, implant positioning, bone density, occlusion, and anything else necessary.
TEMPORARY BRIDGE FABRICATION
Before crafting the final restoration, we create a temporary implant-supported bridge that mirrors the size, shape, and shade of the permanent prosthetic.
DIGITAL MOCK-UP FOR PREVIEW AND ADJUSTMENTS
Using advanced CAD software, we design a digital mock-up of the final bridge, giving you a preview of its aesthetics and functionality.
FINAL SCANS FOR PRECISION FIT
Once the temporary restoration is approved, we take high-precision scans.
DIGITAL DESIGN WITH EXOCAD TECHNOLOGY
Our expert technicians use Exocad to digitally design the final bridge.
PRECISION MILLING FOR EXCEPTIONAL STRENGTH
Once the design is finalized, it is sent to a high-precision milling machine, where the bridge is fabricated from premium strength zirconia.
GLAZING FOR NATURAL AESTHETICS
To enhance the final appearance, we apply a glazing process that gives the restoration a natural translucency, mimicking the light-reflecting properties of enamel.
CUSTOM STAINING FOR A SEAMLESS MATCH
Each bridge undergoes meticulous custom staining to match the patient's natural color.
QUALITY ASSURANCE CHECKS
Before delivery, every implant-supported bridge goes through a strict quality control process. We assess fit, function, occlusion, and durability.
SECURE DELIVERY & CHAIRSIDE SUPPORT
Once the final bridge is complete, it is packed and shipped to your practice.
